Job opportunities in geomatics are expected to grow nationally due to increased geographic information, land-based activity and an increasing rate of retirement of existing professionals. To meet the demand for geomatics professionals, the University of Florida is offering an online Certificate in Geomatics.
This program is offered in a unique partnership between the University of Florida's Division of Continuing Education DCE and UF's School of Forest Resources & Conservation SFRC in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences CALS. The program is appropriate for surveyors and mappers in training, new graduates, or working professionals interested in a career in the fields of geomatics – surveying, mapping, GIS, and photogrammetry.
